1. What type of film does BTG use?
We carry 3 different series of film, from Johnson Window Film, to Bio Window Film,
each series offering different level of heat rejection, warranty, and percentages
available. Check out our BTG Tinting page for more details on each series!

2. How long do I have to wait to roll down my windows?
Typically a client must wait between 3-5 days to roll down their tinted windows.
Times may vary depending on weather condition and temperature change.

3. I am still noticing few water pocket bubbles in my tint. Will this go
away?

We can assure you, any leftover hazy streaks or water pocket bubbles will
disappear during the 3-5 days, water pocket bubbles may take longer to dry out
during colder weathers due to freezing at night, and thawing out during day time.
From prior experience, we noticed using hard cards during installation may scratch
the tint, so we replaced squeezing with rubber squeezes which is a softer material,
and will not leave scratch marks.

4. What can I use to clean my tinted windows with?
Anytime you clean the inside of your tinted windows, stay away from any Ammonia
products, this includes Windex. Our top recommendation would be Invisible Glass,
or Sprayway Glass Cleaning (ammonia free). Or anything on the bottle that says
Ammonia free or Tint-Safe is a good product to use. If you are still uncertain, feel
free to give us a call or email at any time.

5. What is Maryland State Law for window tinting?
The State of Maryland allows after market tint, but must read 35% exactly or higher.
In order to achieve this, 50% must be applied for the tint to read 35% or higher for
majority of the vehicles. Due to factory slight UV protection in the glass, 35% may
drop lower and read darker than 35%.
